So today is the first day of February, the second month of the year. What have you done towards your goal so far? Not much for me to be proud of. I am right on track with other goals, just not with my fitness goals. I am completely behind, and I’m ashamed, but I won’t let that stop me. I consider February, a month of do over for me.
The past 3 months have been rough on my body. I’ve worked non stop, long hours, and even weekends at times. January was the roughest of them all. Work added to injury, female problems and bad weather (heavy rain mixed with winds) forced me to take it easy a bit this past month. I only have 3 runs on my books and just a few gym session. I’ve done my best to keep up with clean eating, but God knows I’ve failed many times as well. These may all sound like excuses, but sadly this was my beginning of the year. Could have I tried a little bit harder, probably; I just could not find it in myself then.
I want to tell you that it’s ok it you fall of the wagon, if you fall behind. It is not the end of the world. Don’t throw yourself a pity party. I’ve said that many times here on this blog. You need to get back up and get back on track. It probably won’t be easy, but then again easy is not what we were born to do now, was it???
I will get on my feet and work on my goals. I will not make any excuses. I am right on time to catch the 8 pm Zumba class at my gym and I’m scheduled for a nice outdoor run in the am if the weather allows it.
